Where we work

Three kinds of property, three different briefs.

Residential estates

Gardens that suit the house and pass the estate's rules.

  • Layouts drawn to estate guidelines and architectural style
  • Entrance and street-facing feature planting
  • Lawn and beds kept to the estate's standard

Complexes & corporate sites

Communal grounds looked after on a fixed schedule.

  • Regular mowing, edging, pruning and hedge work
  • Weed, pest and irrigation oversight
  • One team that knows the site and its trustees

Private home gardens

A full makeover, a new lawn, or one bed done properly.

  • New lawns and lawn rescue
  • Beds, paths, rockeries and borders
  • Planting for patios and entertainment areas

Services

Everything from bare soil to the weekly cut.

Take one service or the whole job. Most projects start with ground preparation and end on a maintenance plan.

Lawn care & installation

A lawn is only as good as the ground under it. We prepare it properly first, then lay the grass that suits your sun, shade and water.

  • Ground preparation, weed eradication and soil levelling
  • Roll-on instant lawn matched to shade and water conditions
  • Lawn restoration, top-dressing and scarifying
  • Seasonal fertilising cycles

Garden design & hardscape

A layout planned for your property, then built: the beds, paths and rock features that give a garden its shape.

  • Garden layouts that fit estate guidelines and the house's style
  • Raised beds, rockeries and stepping-stone pathways
  • Flower borders and edging
  • Mulching and soil conditioning to hold moisture

Floral architecture & planting

Colour planned by the season, so something is always in flower where people actually look.

  • Indigenous and exotic flowers, shrubs and ornamental trees, sourced and planted
  • Colour-themed seasonal beds with perennials and annuals
  • Feature planting for entrances, patios and entertainment areas

Complex & estate maintenance

Scheduled visits for communal spaces, so the grounds look the same in week ten as in week one.

  • Mowing, edging, pruning and hedge trimming
  • Pest control and weed management
  • Irrigation oversight
How maintenance plans work

Lawn guide

Which roll-on lawn suits your garden?

Answer four questions about the spot you want to grass. We'll confirm the choice on site after checking soil, slope and sun.

How much direct sun does the area get?
How hard is it used?
How should it look in winter?
How much can you water?

How a project runs

From site visit to first cut.

  1. Site visit

We walk the property, check soil, slope, sun and drainage, and hear what you want from the space.

  2. Layout & quote

You get a layout and a written quote. For estates, we design to the estate's guidelines.

  3. Ground preparation

Weeds out, soil conditioned and levelled. The step that decides how the lawn and beds perform.

  4. Build & plant

Lawn laid, beds and paths built, flowers, shrubs and trees planted and mulched.

  5. Aftercare

Watering guidance for new lawn, then an optional maintenance plan to keep it looking finished.

Complex & estate maintenance

One crew, a set schedule, grounds that stay neat.

For bodies corporate, HOAs, managing agents and corporate sites. After a walk-through we agree the visit frequency and what each visit covers, and quote per site.

Highveld garden calendar

What your garden needs this season.

Timing matters on the Highveld, with hot wet summers and dry winters with frost. This is the year we plan around.

Questions

Before you book.

Will the design pass our estate's guidelines?

We design layouts to suit your estate's guidelines and the architectural style of the house. If your estate needs plans approved before work starts, tell us at the site visit and we'll prepare the layout with that in mind.

Which lawn should I choose?

It depends on sun, foot traffic, winter colour and how much you can water. Try the lawn guide above for a starting point. We confirm the choice on site, because soil and slope matter too.

When can we walk on new roll-on lawn?

Keep traffic off for roughly two to three weeks while the roots knit into the soil, and water it daily during that time. We'll give you aftercare guidance for your grass type when it's laid.

Do you supply the plants and lawn?

Yes. We source the roll-on lawn, flowers, shrubs and ornamental trees, and bring the soil conditioners and mulch the job needs. Everything is itemised on the quote.

Do you do once-off jobs or only contracts?

Both. You can book a single project, like a new lawn or a garden makeover, or a regular maintenance plan. Many clients do the project first and add maintenance after.

Which areas do you cover?

Johannesburg and surrounding areas. If you're unsure whether you're in range, send your suburb or estate name on WhatsApp.
